Performative heritage on the Attnang-Puchheim – Tauplitz railroad line, on curated apps and in virtual reality.

Regional Express is an audio-visual immersive narrative on the railroad line from Attnang-Puchheim to Tauplitz, dealing with the cultural and natural heritage of the region. The narrative will be communicated as a speculative story to the region and to an international audience. Like memory itself, it is composed of fragments, and its performative nature allows for new perspectives.
The dramaturgy develops through the parameters of the train as a stage and a limited space, the route as a temporal axis, the speed of travel and the stops as clocks for a sensory experience.
The project is developed in several medial stages, which are always intertwined and communicated to the public. At the beginning, workshops will serve to generate ideas, and the results will be documented on a website. As an immersive experience, the narrative will be presented for the European Capital of Culture Year in 2024.
Location:
ÖBB Regional Express between Attnang-Puchheim and Taupliz, in selected stations, on curated programs in digital media and in VR/AR/360.
