We are calling all young people who are interested in farming and organic ways of farming to participate in our second EYAE Training.
EYAE project aims to empower youth towards innovative green agro-technologies and start up business creation as the main driver to achieve food security and employability in an environmental friendly way through NFE methods.
Our target group is the rural youths because we firmly believe that they are the future of the agricultural sector in participating countries.
Objectives of the project are to educate the youths and train them on sustainable agriculture and entrepreneurship, to promote and support Sustainable Agricultural Enterprises, to develop participant’s competences in planning non formal education and intercultural activities and promoting social inclusion of young people.
The hosting organisation from the second training, will be The Environmental and Territorial Management Institute – ETMI. As an NGO they are working since 2014 and collaborating with experts in the field of environment, territory and other related fields to promote environmental and territorial management at regional, national and international level in accordance with modern sustainable development standards.
Establishing your own agro-farm
Agenda: The training course will also involve youth workers and leaders who participated in the first training, with the aim of putting the green skills developed in the first week of training into practice by creating their own business plans in their own local communities. For those who are new to the programme, you can enjoy benefits from already existing knowledge and start directly by planning your own business plan. The trainers will share best practices and case studies with the young people to provide them with practical solutions and knowledge on how to start their own business and compete in the labour market. In addition, the young people will study environmentally friendly, diversified products through study visits to increase effectiveness
Moreover, during the Training the participant will have also other benefits regarding personal development: self-confidence, self awareness, skills, creativity, team work, communication (improving foreign language skills, body language etc.). Non Formal Education methods comprising – Ice–Breakers, Team Building activities, Roundtables, Simulations, Workshops, Case–Studies, Team–work – aimed at producing a specific section of the “Empowering Youth through Agro– Entrepreneurship” Manual. The manual will contain business models in organic agriculture and case studies realized by the participants.
