About this Training School:


The training school will acquaint participants with stateoftheart methods and tools for characterization and simulation of PED. You will learn through lectures, practical classes, group work and discussion workshops how digital technologies facilitate, enhance, and change scholarly practices and
knowledge production. With respect to PEDs. You will become familiar with established and emerging tools for simulation of PEDs and you will get handson experience in working on a real case study with selected digital
tools for advancing research and practice. Furthermore, you will learn how Sweden is developing PEDs and will reflect upon PED related issues in digital research.

Who should apply:

Researchers at different ranks are eligible to apply to the training school, including graduate and PhD students, postdoctoral researchers, and professionals. Researchers from any branch of engineering, as well as architecture, and other related disciplines are welcome to apply, provided that they have an interest in simulation tools practices and knowledge work in the digital environment.


Eligibility

Those who work/attend an education programme or have
citizenship/residency in one of the COST Full Members States, or COST Near Neighbour Countries.

Applicants to the training school should submit:
1. A motivation letter, not exceeding 300500 words. This must include a clear indication of experience relevant to the topic of the training school; provide a rationale of why you are interested in the training school and how you envisage the training school contributing to your learning and research objectives.

2. A short CV (2 pages max).

3. An indication of whether you would like to be considered for
funding.
