Vienna-based transdisciplinary visual artist and social designer Danny Nedkova (b. 1995, Sofia, Bulgaria) works across design, photography, film, text, and installation to explore themes of social significance. With a passion for storytelling through image and language, she blends her visual sensibility as a photographer with a conceptual approach rooted in design. Danny holds a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design Engineering from The Hague, The Netherlands, and in 2022 completed a Master’s degree in Social Design: Art as Urban Innovation at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna. Her practice focuses on speculative, process-based methods, with storytelling and communication as central pillars. Her recent work circulates around the themes of biodiversity, circular economy, public and oral history and identity.
