FairMobility

This will be achieved by collectively re-adapting mobility offers, policies, and guidelines and rethinking physical spaces. The project also aims to create safer urban services that are competitive and attractive to all society groups. An inclusive urban methodology for developing customised mobility options, co-created with their target users, is the innovative approach adopted by the project.

Based on in-depth learnings, testing in two study cases of peripheral municipalities (Creil in France, Ebensee in Austria), and by drawing on the skills of a multidisciplinary and international consortium, FairMobility will co-construct design principles for fair mobility in towns and rural areas. The aim is to innovate mobility and accessibility procedures, allowing future users to have a true impact on the mobility behaviours of citizens systematically, thus reducing gender, age and ethnic  inequalities.
