Berna is an urban planner with a focus on spatial justice, participatory practices, and the future of urban environments. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in City and Regional Planning from METU and a Master’s degree from ITU, including academic exchanges at TU Wien and TU Dortmund. Her work explores how cities can adapt to social, spatial, and environmental challenges through inclusive and research-based approaches.

Her experience includes working with municipalities, universities, and interdisciplinary teams on topics ranging from public space regeneration to collaborative urban design and sustainable policy-oriented research.
