Fanzineist Vienna: Circular Steps for Circular Culture

Posted on: 31st May 2024

Wonderland recently participated in the Fanzineist Vienna Art Book & Zine Fair, presenting the YE-2C Project with the theme “Circular Steps for Circular Culture”

In the Fanzineist Vienna we explored the intersections of waste, sustainable artistry, and circular art practices, fostering discussions that highlighted the importance of circularity in cultural initiatives.

Our talk, titled “Circular Steps for Circular Culture,” addressed issues surrounding waste management and sustainable artistry. Attendees explored global waste dump yards and discussed narratives of circularity within the art and culture scenes. The session featured insights from both local and international artists, emphasizing the role of circular practices in cultural projects. Participants were encouraged to integrate these practices into their own initiatives, promoting a sustainable and environmentally conscious approach to art and culture.
