The first day of the POSEIDON consortium meeting in Marseille focused on presenting progress on activities across different work packages and partners, as well as deepening knowledge of vulnerabilities and strengths. Throughout the consortium meeting, we had the valuable opportunity to strengthen our bonds and share concrete feedback on the progress of the work packages in the POSEIDON project.
The meeting was adapted to a hybrid format due to logistical obstacles caused by the blackout in Spain and Portugal.

The opening day included a warm reception, a Steering Committee meeting, and an official presentation by the City of Marseille, highlighting its commitment to the “100 Climate-Neutral Cities by 2030” initiative. This was followed by a press conference revealing the selected local demonstrator district for the POSEIDON project. In the afternoon, partners engaged in collaborative workshops to further develop tailored solutions, concluding the day with a social dinner in the heart of the city.
