LUX: Architecture Film Night

Mies. TV and movies in wonderland present: Mies. in wonderland

The international video platform for architecture Mies. TV present in cooperation with wonderland – platform for european architecture – an architecture film night in Luxembourg. As a Mies. in wonderland event (part of movies in wonderland) three short films will be presented that focus on the young and engaged generation of architecture students of today.

Biennale 2018: Documentary Teaser

 

the story

Mies. TV has visited the opening of the 16th Architecture Biennale in Venice. The young architecture students from across five nations have interviewed well known architects and Biennale visitors. The documentary unveils the tension of the meaning and importance of such an event. Opinions clash together such as “this is the most beautiful Biennale ever” to “this Biennale is a total wash-out!”.

The documentary will be joined by two other short films, which also reflect the young generation of architecture students at two different continents. In To The Table, Anna Dobrova invites residents of an urban housing block in Ukraine to be the key players in the activation of their public space. Briding Mzamba shows the story and design of a transnational idea of creating bridge over the South African river of Mzamba.
