The international architecture film festival is taking on its third year. As in recent years, we’re engaging the audience with films on architecture, the city and built environment. What makes Architektur.Film.Sommer so special among other architecture film festivals is the fact that our screenings take place in public space, generating a mix of audiences, from film buffs to architects to passers-by and neighbours, creating lively discussions between filmmakers, experts and a broader public.
We are now accepting international film entries, such as feature length documentaries and shorts, experimental and animation films. The topic of this year´s issue will be around „shelter, housing and the formation of cities“ in its broadest sense.

The submission is free of charge
Submission options:
DVD and entry form by mail to Karoline Mayer, Architekturzentrum Wien, Museumsplatz 1, 1070 Vienna, Austria (Important: Submissions will not be returned)
File and entry form via online-transferring platform (dropbox, wetransfer etc.) to mayer[at]azw.at
Submission consists of:
Completed entry form
Film (format compatible with VLC player)
Deadlines for selected Filmmakers:
Submission of press kit: 15th May 2015
Screening DVDs must be sent in before 30th July 2015
Screenings: between 12th and 29th August 2015
